Are rats safe?
Yes! All rats are safe in PVC tubes. All our rats are trained from a young age to work in this sport. Our rats are pampered in the house and are happy to work when the time is right.
What do I need for a course?
Harness, high value treat, long, tug and your dog!
If I want to compete, how does it work?
You must have your Dog ID from Rats! Canada is a number that is attached to your dog for its entire life. You get it via this link
Then, you monitor the event page and when you see the form taken out to register you fill it out. Please note that it is VERY IMPORTANT TO READ THE PRENIUM. All information regarding the competition is included in the premium.
I don't really understand games, what should I sign up for to begin with?
To begin, we recommend registering in Brush and Barn at novice level only. Subsequently, with the evolution of your dog, you will be able to register in higher levels and in Team Relay and/or Trailling.
What is the G.T.G. (Go To Ground)?
It is a tunnel game aimed at dogs measuring 12 inches at the withers and under. If you have a medium sized or larger dog, this game is not for you!
How do I access the excellent level?
To be able to complete the excellent levels, your dog must have succeeded in obtaining the titles of Grand Champion in the Barn and/or Brush games.

Frisbee and Freestyle

At what age can I start playing Frisbee with my dog?
You can start doing the basics of frisbee and freestyle at around 4 months. No acrobatics, no jumping, just the basics so the dog understands what to do.
At what age can I start competing with my dog?
The RPT can be done from 14 weeks, but the rest can be done from 12 months.
What do I need to compete?
You will need a Dog ID that is good for your dog's entire life. To have the Dog ID simply click on this link and complete the form which is in English only.
What is RPT?
The RPT is an object report title. You are in a 6 foot by 6 foot box with your dog and a frisbee (or something). You must throw the object or frisbee beyond the 10 yard (30 foot) line; your dog must fetch it and bring it back to you in the box without dropping it along the way. Your dog must also not go behind you when he brings you the object, everything must be as straight as possible.
Where can I get frisbees?
There are several places that sell frisbees, personally I recommend the store Accro Canin which delivers everywhere across Quebec.
Are the titles CKC recognized?
Canadian Disc Dog Association titles are not recognized by the CKC.
Tricks Dog

How does it work for dog tricks?
You must send me the videos of your dog doing the tricks by email or Facebook Messenger. No need to edit, you can send me each trick individually.
How many tricks should I do per level?
There are 4 levels in trick dogs: novice, intermediate, advanced and expert. (note that an advanced and expert level trick counts as 2 tricks at novice or intermediate level).
Novice 15 tricks, intermediate 12 tricks, advanced 5 tricks and expert 5 tricks. When you reach the Champion and Grand Champion level, you will need to edit a video to send it directly to Do More With Your Dog, another evaluator will view your video and approve you. I can help you with the process.
How can I get my title?
Once I have approved your tricks you can go to the website Do More With Your Dog to order the appropriate title.
Are there costs?
Having your tricks evaluated is free of charge (unless you take a private lesson with me). The cost is linked to the purchase of your title on the Do More With Your Dog website.
Are the titles CKC recognized?
The Tricks dog titles of Do More With Your Dog are recognized by the CKC.

What is Rally-O?
Rally-O is an obedience course. During the route there are between 10 and 15 signs along the route and you must do what the sign says.

Rally-O titles are recognized by the CKC and the AKC.

At what age can I start Rally-O with my dog?
You can start competing with your dog from the age of 6 months.
What do I need to compete?
You must have basic obedience skills and know your signs. Additionally, your dog must have a CKC registration number or CKC event number to compete.
If you compete in AKC you need an event number AKC or register number AKC.

What is UpDog?
These are frisbee games and a few games that include a little agility. The goal of this sport is to strengthen the bond between you and your dog. Everything mixes fun and strategy.

The Stunt Dog is a choreography, with tricks all taking place in front of an audience.

What is Animal Actor?
These are exercises that prove that your dog is able to perform in different environments to be able to make photographic advertisements and films or even TV series.

What is Condition Canine Fitness?
Fitness consists of several exercises at different levels that work on the dog's proprioception as well as working different muscles and thus ensuring that the risk of injury is reduced in different sports.
How can I get my titles approved?
The approval of the titles is free of charge, you must do ALL the exercises per level (except those which mention if allowed for the dog, there are manipulations which are more delicate to do, it is preferable not to do them if you do not feel comfortable and thus avoid injuries).
